Headquartered in Seven Lakes, North Carolina, Pine Apparel has served the women’s wear industry since 1985, supplying boutiques and small chains across the United States. As the company grew, its disconnected technology stack began to create operational friction.
When Chris Mosier joined as operations manager, Pine Apparel was using Xero for accounting, Cin7 for warehouse management, and Shopify for eCommerce Pine Apparel. Inventory was unreliable, reporting was limited, and month-end processes required manual journal entries to reconcile inventory and cost of goods.
To modernize operations, Pine Apparel selected SAP Business One, seeking a single, transparent view of warehouse and distribution processes. They then chose FocusPoint to revamp their eCommerce and sales workflows.
FocusPoint introduced functionality that better aligned with Pine Apparel’s sales model, including a multi-sales rep option that allows both a primary and secondary rep to sell to the same customer without creating duplicate records.
Today, Pine Apparel benefits from simplified operations, optimized processes, and improved customer service, all built on a unified SAP-native foundation.
